Description

This was a project of the Cloud Computing Work Group, now part of the Open Platform 3.0™ Forum. Its aim was to produce a White Paper on common terminology and concepts for use by all other Cloud Work Group projects.

It was a special project commissioned by the Cloud Computing Work Group Steering Committee. It was set up in this way because its role cuts across that of the other projects, and because it was intended to be a relatively short-term activity.

The project is now closed, having achieved its objective.

Accomplishments

The project produced the Open Group White Paper Cloud Computing Explained (May 2011).
