The Open Group is, therefore, proud to announce the return of The Open Cannes Awards in 2006, to Washington D.C. in celebration of The Open Group's 10-year Anniversary!
Modesty prevents us from a hyperbolic explanation of the inaugural ceremony held on the beautiful French Riviera in October 2002 but, for those of you new to The Open Cannes Awards, let's give you a little taster – from a review by our very own Monsieur Beaton Hoover – lifestyle adviser to the stars:
