How to submit a comment offline.
We request you submit your comments using the forms above
or follow the format for offline comments, since this

We recommend that you use the pdf version of the document for
detailed comments so you can reference specific page and section numbers.
Guidelines on Defect Reporting
Comments should be categorized as Editorial, Comment, or Objection
with a sub-classification of
-
Error
-
Omission
-
Clarification required
Perceived errors should be filed as either editorial or
objection. Requests pointing out an omission in TOGAF
should be filed as either comment or objection. Requests
for clarification should be filed as a comment.
(note that the Forum is not under obligation to provide
consulting assistance so requests for advice that are unclear
will be summarily rejected).
Editorial errors are for typos etc that can be left to the
discretion of the editors. Comments are for issues that
you would like addressed but would not object to being left
as they are in the document. Objections are for issues where
you would vote against adoption of the document in a formal review.
Bug reports sent in this way require you give a page and section
number reference
for the problem, a clear problem statement together with your proposed action to
correct the problem. In effect you should provide an impact analysis
as the proposed change to address the problem you have raised.

comments.
